Child Development
Free Early Years Web Summit
Early Years practitioners can now join a free, online conference with top experts, from the comfort of their own home.
The 2016 Summit will explore ‘Talking with Children and Quality Interactions’
More and more Early Years practitioners are finding it difficult to attend conferences because of the increasing expense, the location of conferences and, most crucially, getting time to leave their settings for a whole day. The Early Years Summit solves all these problems. You just need a computer with an Internet connection to watch and listen in a place convenient to you, at a time to suit you. And it is free when you listen and watch the broadcasts live.
As a bonus, you will also be able to buy the recordings to keep forever, so you can refer back to them time and again.
The first Early Years Summit is focused on Talking with Children: Quality Interactions. This is a vital part of outstanding practice and supporting children. The speakers on this year’s Early Years Summit are a collection of well-known and respected experts from home and abroad, so far including:
Alistair Bryce-Clegg
Michael Jones
Dr Ann Clare
Marion Dowling
Chris Reid
Laura Henry
Kathy Brodie
June O’Sullivan OBE
Dr Jane Bulkeley
Chris Reid
Niki Buchan
Julie Fisher

You’ll get notification of each day’s content by email, and you’ll then be able to watch or listen to each interview.
The interviews will remain live on the site for a week, or if you upgrade your access you’ll be able to download them to watch/listen whenever you want or load them on to your iPod or phone.
Some of the topics the summit will cover include:
